COFFEE – GRINDER & MAKER REVIEW

Coffee is the one thing many of us start off our day with. You can buy coffee at the local market or at any number of sources, including online. In our household, we have been buying specialty coffees for years. We have been convinced that buying whole beans and grinding them ourselves provides the absolute best and freshest cup of coffee.

There are a variety of grinding options. We looked at several grinding options but came back to the Cuisinart DBM-8 standalone burr machine. A tad pricey but if you drink a lot of coffee and want to switch beans often this seems to work. Patty and I buy several varieties of beans from several vendors and switch often to change the coffee experience.

Now that we addressed what I call the “bean machine” let’s get to the coffee. I spent hours looking at various coffee vendors only to find out that many of them are represented at good pricing at Amazon.com.

While coffee makers are available at many places, we found the best variety at Amazon. Amazon has a large selection at reasonable prices and usually, something is on sale. We are very satisfied with our Cuisinart DCC-3200-PerfecTemp-Programmable-coffeemaker. It makes up to 14 cups or has a feature for making 1-4 cups.

Now that we are up and moving after our blast of java, let’s look at knives.
