Patty and I made our monthly shopping sojourn this past week and found that Green Chiles are coming in. Albertsons had just received several boxes of hot, medium, and mild chiles. They expect to receive boxes upon boxes of chiles in the next couple of weeks. These will be sold by the box (approx. 25 lbs.) and they offer free roasting.
If your local market does not have or plan to have chiles and you are interested, go to the produce manager, and ask him/her to see if they can get them.
Most all grocery stores order and receive products from various vendors. They should be able to get Green Chiles, aka Hatch chilies.
