Howdy all,
Just thought I’d recap our first year and the first calendar quarter of 2022. After a year of writing posts and blogs, we feel like our base is strong. We will still write blogs & posts but will begin to turn the corner towards bringing you deals and discounts.
When we started we had no idea that Covid would be what it has turned out to be. The good news is that it fell right into our bailiwick of online ordering and purchasing. Phase 2 of KITCHEN TIPS will continue that trend.
I’m sure we all realize that inflation is around 8.5% and appears to be going up. Beef, Chicken, and Pork are all up over 10%, eggs are up some 28% and gas is running about 48% increase.
I learned early on to avoid talking about religion or politics, but politics are playing are larger part in our lives every day. Take the southern border for example, people (illegal aliens) are coming into our country by the thousands. Yes, I know we are a country of immigrants, but people entered in an orderly fashion and were processed. Today the border is overrun, and we have very little idea of who these folks are. Ok-so what? Few if any are being processed and checked for Covid, not to mention the rampant influx of illegal drugs. A recent news report stated that the amount of illegal Fentanyl obtained, yes obtained, was enough to kill every citizen in our Country. What about the amount that slipped through? The border is so overrun that the administration is bussing and flying these illegals to cities around the Country. Sometimes without the knowledge of the recipient city.
Gas & oil is another huge challenge. The price of a gallon of gas at the pump is up two dollars or more around the Country. Reports say that the USA has enough gas & oil in the ground to not only supply our Country but to sell to the World. The administration states there are some 9000 permits available, but what they don’t say is that around 2000 of them are in litigation and executive orders have stopped oil & gas leases on public lands. Go figure.
I am spelling this out to further emphasize how Kitchen Tips can do its part in saving a few bucks here & there.
In addition, I’m happy to convey that we were approved by Coleman, Tractor Supply Co., and expect to be approved by “Honey” shortly.
